BLS, the visa application service provider for Spain in Iran, has announced an updated schedule for the release of Spain visa appointments and the rules governing online bookings. Applicants should carefully follow these requirements, as failure to comply may result in appointment cancellation or restrictions on future bookings.

When Do Visa Appointments Become Available?

Appointments for submitting Spain visa applications at the BLS centre are released every Wednesday at 10:00 AM and remain available until the weekly allocation is fully booked.Appointments made available through cancellations of previous bookings are also released daily at 10:00 AM and can be reserved until all available slots are filled.

Appointment Cancellation and the 12-Week Booking Restriction

If you are unable to attend your appointment, you must cancel it through the website at least 48 working hours before the scheduled appointment time. If an appointment is not cancelled within the required period and the applicant fails to attend, the booking system will prevent the applicant from making another appointment for 12 weeks.

Photograph and Identity Verification Requirements

Appointments must be booked directly by the visa applicants themselves. Bookings made by intermediaries will be cancelled or rejected. The following requirements apply when booking an appointment online:

• • Use your own personal email address and telephone number. Appointments booked using another person’s contact details will not be accepted.

• • Take a photograph of yourself in which your entire face is clearly visible.

• • Blank or white images, photographs of passports, photographs of printed pictures, and images that do not clearly match the applicant’s face will not be accepted.
