From a Brand’s Resilience to Ideas for New Cooperation: Women Entrepreneurs Committee Visits Delzhin Furniture
As part of the women entrepreneurs committee‘s programme to learn more about members’ capabilities, experience and business activities, Eng. Oria Siahpoosh, Secretary of the committee at the Iran–Spain Joint Chamber of Commerce, visited Delzhin Furniture and met its manager, Eng. Hozhabr.
The visit took place on Wednesday, 4 November 2026 (13 Aban 1405), at Eng. Hozhabr’s invitation. Its aim was to learn more about the professional work of committee members, identify opportunities for cooperation and create new ways for women in business to connect.
One of the committee’s approaches is to go beyond formal contacts and give members direct insight into each other’s work and experience. Visiting member companies and talking with their managers offers a view of real business conditions and creates room for sharing management experience and building professional partnerships.
During the visit, Eng. Siahpoosh toured Delzhin’s showroom and learned about parts of the company’s operations.
From building a brand to overcoming business challenges
A large part of the meeting focused on the history of the Delzhin brand, its development and Eng. Hozhabr’s management experience. The discussion covered the company’s path and how a business can stay resilient amid changing economic conditions and challenges in the operating environment.
Business resilience is a key management issue, especially in an industry like furniture, which depends on production, trade and shifting market conditions. Hearing from managers who work in the real market helps others understand how to sustain operations, adapt to change and manage difficult periods. Such practical lessons rarely get space in formal meetings, yet they can be valuable for other entrepreneurs.
Delzhin ready to cooperate with the Chamber
Another focus of the visit was cooperation between Delzhin Furniture and the Iran–Spain Joint Chamber of Commerce. Eng. Hozhabr expressed interest in taking a more active part in the Chamber’s programmes and offered to help organise joint events and gatherings.
The discussions raised the possibility of Delzhin hosting some of the women’s committee programmes, member networking sessions and professional experience-sharing events. The idea is to create a warm yet professional setting where women entrepreneurs and business leaders can talk outside the format of office meetings, present their work and exchange views on shared economic and management topics.
Meeting in a company’s real working environment takes conversations beyond general introductions and links them to hands-on experience of management and doing business.
Strengthening the network of women entrepreneurs
As part of its mission to develop economic and professional ties among women in business, the committee places strong emphasis on understanding the capabilities that exist among its members. Each member, alongside her own expertise, can open doors to a wider cooperation network and share knowledge with others.
Site visits introduce members’ products, services and fields of activity, and offer a chance to hear real entrepreneurial stories, recognise shared challenges and explore new ideas for joint initiatives. Members’ voluntary hosting of events also turns their role from attending meetings into actively designing and delivering programmes. Delzhin’s offer to cooperate is therefore a positive step for this member-driven approach.
The Women Entrepreneurs Committee of the Iran–Spain Joint Chamber of Commerce hopes that by continuing such visits and meetings, it can further showcase the capabilities of women in business and expand the sharing of management experience and professional ties among members.
At the end of the visit, thanks were extended to Eng. Hozhabr for his warm invitation and hospitality and for his readiness to take part in joint activities.
